Marty Stuart states: “It’s been two years since the last Late Night Jam. It’s wonderful to think about gathering at the Mother Church of Country Music again and making music. Some of the most memorable musical moments I’ve ever experienced happened on the stage of the Ryman at previous Late Night Jams. I have no doubt that I can count on that same magic to occur this year.”

Marty Stuart’s Late Night Jam debuted in 2002.The show has been called “the pirate ship event” of CMA Fest, which this event kicks off, and “a rollicking, super-sized show” by the Tennessean. The show will raise funds for Marty’s Stuart’s Congress of Country Music project in development in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Previously, Marty Stuart’s Late Night Jam has benefited MusiCares, as well as the victims of the Nashville flood, giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years.

The Marty Stuart Congress of Country Music (MSCCM) will be based in Philadelphia, Mississippi which will celebrate the rich cultural heritage of country music through live musical performance and educational programming. This tribute to the culture and rural ethics of America will be presented in a world-class country music museum and performing arts center. Through a lifelong awareness to protect and preserve country music’s legacy: Marty Stuart has assembled a collection that spans over 20,000 pieces.
